Our Journey

MedVax Vigilance was founded in December 2025 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, by a multidisciplinary team of public health experts, regulatory specialists, and technology innovators. The organization was established to address the growing need for strong pharmacovigilance systems across Africa, driven by expanding immunization programs, increased access to medicines, and regional regulatory harmonization.

2025–2026

Foundation & Platform Development

Official launch of core operations and development of AI-powered adverse event reporting and monitoring platforms. Initial pilot deployments planned in selected East African healthcare facilities.

2026–2027

Training & Capacity Building

Rollout of accredited pharmacovigilance training programs, including workshops, e-learning modules, and certification initiatives for healthcare professionals and regulators.

2027–2028

Strategic Partnerships

Formation of collaborations with national regulatory authorities, regional bodies such as the East African Community, international organizations, academic institutions, and public health stakeholders.

2028–2030

Africa-Wide Expansion

Scaling services across the continent, integration of advanced predictive analytics, support for the African Medicines Agency initiatives, and expansion into underserved regions.
